1. Shipping Origin & Processing Times
- All products are shipped from our central fulfillment center located in San Francisco, California, unless otherwise specified.
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM Pacific Time (Monday–Friday) are typically processed and shipped the same day.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM Pacific Time, or on weekends and holidays, may be shipped the following business day.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates
We offer three FedEx shipping methods:

Estimated delivery timelines are provided directly from FedEx’s API at checkout and are non-binding. Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, logistical disruptions, or carrier-specific delays.
3. Transfer of Responsibility
Once your order has been handed off to the shipping carrier:
- The shipment is considered fulfilled.
- Ownership and delivery responsibility are transferred to the customer.
- Neither Eastgate Funeral Home nor Memorial Shops shall be held liable for shipping delays, missed delivery attempts, or lost packages resulting from third-party carrier issues.
4. Customer Acknowledgement
By submitting your order, you confirm that:
- You have reviewed and approved the estimated delivery timeline shown at checkout.
- You understand that delivery guarantees are limited to FedEx’s terms for 2nd Day AM and Overnight services.
- You will not hold RememberUrns responsible for shipping delays outside our control.
5. Incorrect, Delayed, or Damaged Deliveries
- In the rare case of a defective, incorrect, or damaged product, please contact our customer service team within 3 business days of receipt.
- Be prepared to provide your order number and clear photos of the issue to assist with timely resolution.
- Shipping errors caused by incorrect information provided at checkout (e.g., address, recipient name, engraving text) are not eligible for refund or replacement unless otherwise determined by our team.
6. TSA & Airline Guidance for Cremation Products
Certain memorial items (such as urns) are approved by the TSA for air travel. The following materials are generally accepted in carry-on luggage:
- Wood & Fiberboard Composite
- Paper-based Materials
- Plastic
Because airline policies vary, we strongly recommend contacting your airline before traveling with cremated remains to confirm their requirements.
